ROMA TOMATOES

Roma tomatoes are also grown at Stuckwish Family Farms and are available between the end of July and end at the beginning of September.  The Roma tomatoes are picked and packaged at the peak of their freshness to ensure premium quality and shelf life.  We pack our Roma tomatoes in 25 lbs boxes and separate into various sizes. #2 Roma tomatoes are available and are an excellent option for those wishing to make salsa.   

 

 

 

Stuckwish Family Farms is the place to find high quality, great tasting produce grown in the sandy soils of Jackson County.  Our unique location in south-central Indiana gives us the ability to provide our customers with fresh local produce picked at the peak of freshness from late June to late October.

 

PRODUCE

TOMATOES

 

Large, red vine ripened tomatoes are also grown at Stuckwish Family Farms using Haygrove High Tunnels which allows us to extend the growing season and improve the overall quality of the tomatoes while still growing directly in the soil.  Our tomatoes are handpicked and sorted to meet the needs for local and commercial buyers.  The growing season begins in mid-June and ends in late September.  We pack our tomatoes in 25 lbs boxes and separate into various sizes.  #2 tomatoes are also available and make great options for juicing and salsa. 

WATERMELONS

 

We raise seedless and seeded red, ripe and incredibly sweet watermelons on the sandy soil of Jackson County, Indiana.  Our watermelons begin in mid-July and last until the end of September.  Throughout the production process, our highly trained staff makes sure that the melons are picked at the perfect stage for quality and freshness. Our watermelons are packaged in 2’ safety bins and come in counts of 36, 45 and 60. Other packing options are available upon request. 

SWEET CORN

 

We raise delicious, super sweet bi-color sweet corn that is handpicked fresh daily for the best tasting sweet corn around.  Our sweet corn season begins the last week of June and ends about the second week of July.  We pack our sweet corn in 5 dozen bags but also can pack in bulk bins based on customer needs. 

PEPPERS

 

At Stuckwish Family Farms, we raise a variety of peppers including Green Bell Pepper, Poblano Peppers, Jalapenos, Serranos, Hungarian Wax and Anaheim.  We begin harvesting peppers at the start of July and ends at the beginning of August.  Our peppers are packed in 1 1/9 bushel boxes, half bushel boxes and 1/3 bushel boxes.

CANTALOUPE

 

We also raise large, great tasting cantaloupes perfect for your needs.  Our cantaloupes begin at the beginning of July and last until the start of September.  Throughout the production process our highly trained staff makes sure that the cantaloupes are harvested at the perfect stage for quality and freshness.  Our cantaloupes are packaged in 2’ safety bins and come in counts of 90, 100, or rounded up to fit your needs.

PUMPKINS

 

Nothing says Autumn like large orange pumpkins grown at Stuckwish Family Farms.  Our pumpkins begin in mid-September and are picked until late October.  We package our pumpkins in 3' safety bins in various counts depending on customer needs.

FALL SQUASH

 

Enjoy the rich, beautiful colors of our mixture of fall squash that is grown at Stuckwish Family Farms.  The different varieties provide an amazing selection of size, style and color for your fall displays.
